During the award ceremony for the RegioWIN projects, Ministers Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, MdL, and Theresia Bauer, MdL, as well as Minister Peter Hauk announced the funding of the Biologicals Development Center with the NMI in Reutlingen, the Werner Siemens Imaging Center (WSIC) of the University and the University Hospital Tübingen. The goal of the partners is to design, produce, functionalise and test biotechnologically produced proteins, so-called biologicals, in cooperation with academic groups and companies and to quickly bring them into use.
