On December 8, 2022 the closing episode of the BioRN Espresso series “SAMPLES and DATA to improve healthcare: Value / Potential / Challenges” attracted around 30 participants to understand and address the complex topic of GDP in health care.
Two experts joint the digital stage: Melanie Börries, University Hospital Freiburg and Barbara Tomasi, MyData-Trust. Based on their own experience they tried to outline a path for compliance with GDPR by still maintaining a smooth and fast cooperation path. Although complex regulations, it is possible to increase cooperation between academia and industry for the sake of patients.
