The University of Heidelberg wants to expand its start-up culture in a sustainable way and is now being supported with its "Heidelberg Entrepreneurship & Innovation Programme" concept, which was successful in the EXIST Potential Competition. With the aim of making Ruperto Carola's innovative achievements more usable and transferring them into added value for society, it will receive funding of around two million euros over a period of four years. The Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy wants to use EXIST support to give universities the opportunity to further develop the content of their start-up networks and to provide new impetus for the implementation of start-up support measures on a broad basis.
