UKHD ranks among the 'World's Best Hospitals' once again in 2021

The Heidelberg University Hospital (UKHD) has once again been named one of the 100 best hospitals in the world by the US magazine 'Newsweek'. In the third edition of the 'World's Best Hospitals' ranking, which is compiled in collaboration between "Newsweek" and the statistics and data platform 'Statista', the UKHD is ranked 14th worldwide in 2021. In Germany, the UKHD is in second place, close behind the Berlin Charité.

In 2019 and 2020, the UKHD already occupied second place in Germany. The ranking is based on assessments by healthcare experts, patient surveys and key performance indicators of the hospitals. Hospitals from 25 countries were compared in the ranking, including not only Germany but also the United States, Canada, England and Switzerland.
