Through a five years sponsorship, Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany will not only support incubator operations but also provide expertise and offer guidance to young entrepreneurs. The new site is expected to open for innovative life science start-up companies in 2021.
Biolabs Global is the premier life-sciences and biotech co-working company founded in Cambridge, MA, USA in 2010 and operates laboratories in key life science clusters in multiple geographies.
The new Heidelberg site will offer first class fully outfitted wet laboratories, premium scientific equipment, and furnished office space to early stage scientifically based companies. The site will be expertly managed by the local BioLabs staff.
BioLabs and BioRN, the leading life-science cluster in the region, have been actively working to bring the incubator model to Heidelberg and together celebrate this new collaboration.
