A new joint initiative from a network of academic institutions, industry and cities in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region (MRN) aims to ensure that the potential of scientific excellence in the life sciences is better exploited. With several world-renowned institutions, the region is one of the leading research locations in the life sciences. Nevertheless, in the future it is hoped that many more start-up companies and products in the life sciences will be created.
