On January 31, BioRN Lounge hosted Ronny Schmidt, Head of Contract Research at Sciomics as guest speaker. The talk focused on the importance of disease definition and mechanisms to enable more precise and objective treatments.
Pharma R&D productivity, cost of drug development and biomarker use demonstrate the urgent need of molecular profiling for drug discovery and more importantly drug repurposing. Ronny showed how the power of Sciomic’s technology for large scale protein analysis through large scale cooperation will be able to facilitate precision medicine.
