Vienna BioCenter Core Facilities (VBCF) is a publicly funded non-profit research-performing medium-sized company, situated at the Vienna BioCenter, one of the most outstanding and prominent life sciences hubs in the Central Europe. The company’s main goal is providing access to state-of-the-art research infrastructures and scientific services for both research institutions and private customers in the field of Life Sciences. The company encompasses eleven core facilities having focus on various aspects of R&D in life sciences, either as routine investigations or finding new, original solutions. Besides providing services, VBCF carries out its own research and developmental activities, mainly in the field of further development of the infrastructure, methodology, and services.
