The Phospholipid Research Center (PRC), founded in 2006 by international scientists and the companies Lipoid GmbH and PHOSPHOLIPID GmbH, is a not-for-profit organisation with the vision to become a primary focal point for all phospholipid-related questions and for all relevant areas of expertise concerning phospholipids (PL) in pharmaceutical applications. The PRC is dedicated to enhance the use of the various types of PLs by promoting the use of PLs in pharmaceutical applications; distributing information on PLs among scientists and practitioners; funding dissertations and research projects in academia and offering a platform for networking.
