Technology Transfer

- The International Perspective -

Successful translation of discovery into therapy

Technology transfer from academia to industry is an important part of health innovation. However, the interplay between research institutions, startups, venture capitalists, and pharmaceutical companies is a complex process.
Together with the Heidelberg Startup Partners we organised an intensive afterwork session on October 21st in Heidelberg. Regional and international key opinion leaders discussed best-practice and new ideas in technology transfer.

  • Christina Takke, Managing Partner at V-Bio Ventures

  • Joern-Peter Halle, Head of External Innovation & TIP Immuno-Oncology, Merck

  • Phil Elstob, Commercialisation Director at Cambridge Enterprise

  • Andreas Jenne, Former CEO at RSP System
