The BioRN Biomarker Center brings together research teams who characterize molecular biomarkers for the development of new diagnostic agents.
A targeted diagnosis in combination with an individualized therapy forms the foundation of personalized medicine, which is gaining increasing significance in the treatment of such complex diseases as cancer.
Dr. Erhard Fernholz, Manager of R&D at Roche Diagnostics GmbH, about the start of the collaborative project BioRN Biomarker Center:
